Corey Scheck is an accomplished municipal IT and cybersecurity leader with 20+ years serving the City of Salina, Kansas. As CTO, he has modernized citywide infrastructure, strengthened cybersecurity, and supported 12 departments and 50+ divisions that deliver critical services to residents and businesses. He oversees mission-critical public safety systems, maintaining CJIS-compliant operations with exceptional uptime. Corey leads digital transformation across the organization—consolidating platforms, improving network performance, advancing high-availability virtualization, and driving measurable cost efficiencies. A strategic, hands-on executive, he has championed secure remote access, resilience engineering, and long-term technology roadmaps that align with municipal priorities, from public safety to utilities, public works, and administrative services. Corey is a sitting member of the GMIS International Membership Committee, participates in several international IT roundtables, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
