As we watch the threat landscape change daily – it is easy to get lost in which way is up. Who can keep up with the alphabet soup of acronyms; EPP, EDR, MDR, NGAV, Zero Trust, SIEM, or XDR, (and the list goes on)? Adding to this confusion are the thousands of security offerings that are all claiming to be “the one”. Accepting that People, Process, and Technology acting as one suit of armor is how we find true success and learning from our past should certainly be the quickest path to success during these difficult times. We will discuss some of the key elements in finding success on this battlefield of the threat landscape and focus on lessons learned around; Patch Management, RBAC, MFA, and more.
